IBS Research Project

Help shape a new support programme for women living with IBS

I've lived with IBS myself for many years.

Like many people, I've spent time worrying about symptoms, planning around toilets, researching solutions and wondering whether life would feel easier if my gut would just behave itself.

Over time I've become increasingly interested in the impact IBS has on confidence, freedom and quality of life.

I'm currently speaking with women who live with IBS to better understand their experiences and help shape a new specialist support programme.

Who I'm looking to speak with

I'm particularly interested in speaking with women who:

  • Have been living with IBS for at least a year

  • Feel their symptoms affect their confidence or quality of life

  • Find themselves planning around symptoms

  • Have tried various approaches but still feel restricted by IBS

You do not need a formal diagnosis to take part.

What the conversation involves

A relaxed online conversation lasting around 30–45 minutes.

We'll talk about:

  • Your experience of IBS

  • The challenges you face

  • What you've tried so far

  • What support you wish existed

  • What would make the biggest difference to your life

There is no sales pitch. I'm simply looking to learn.

As a thank you

As a thank you for your time, you'll receive:

  • A free gut-focused hypnotherapy recording

  • Any relevant resources I think may help

  • The opportunity to join a waiting list for future IBS support (optional)
